As I lay here, millions of people are running late to work, stuck in traffic, drinking coffee, barely surviving, partying, laughing, crying, mourning, sleeping, or doing nothing at all. Someone is painting. Someone is out there plotting a murder. Someone is being raped. Someone just died and a new baby was just born into this world. Someone just fell in love, few just fell out. A wedding is occurring this very second, so is a funeral. It’s kind of hard to believe that there is a world out there when I pay so much attention to just mine. Someone just lit a cigarette while someone was just hospitalized for it. Someone is lighting a blunt while another is injecting their blood stream with crystal meth. Someone is having sex while another just received news that they have cancer. Someone is stalking another while some random person is walking their dog. Maybe that person walking the dog is the one being stalked. Someone is running while someone just lost their ability to walk. Someone just won a whole lot of money at the casino while another family is now bankrupt. Someone just died of starvation while another person is hovering their toilet, throwing up their food to maintain the thin image that they desire. Someone is contemplating suicide. Someone already committed the act. Someone just said “I love you”. Someone is wondering why this world is fucked up. Someone is convinced that Gays, Jews, and/or other factors are the reason. Someone is fighting for equality while another is fighting against it. Someone is at a theme park while a child stares at the entrance with sad eyes, wishing that their parents could afford a ticket. Someone is singing while another is wishing they had the ability to speak.  Someone is getting arrested while another criminal walks free. Thoughts are floating this earth yet few care to listen. Desperate pleas for assistance are as blatant as Vegas billboards but most choose to be blind.
